This week will be their comeuppance. Just like their comeuppance last year was their game vs. us. We gave them a SOLID beatdown.

Look for Bama to do the same.

I see Bama winning too, but I think its closer than the 12.5 spread listed in another thread.

I’m sick of hearing about Pavia. I hope Bama routs them and Pavia has to spend all next week in the ice bath.
But I’m betting Vandy wins, or at the very least, if they lose, they keep it a one-score final.

That Vandy offense is getting it done.

The D ain't bad either. We'll see if they can go 4 quarters.

The Pavia hype is over.
Nah, don’t think so.

Like was discussed in this board earlier this week, the receivers are a critical key to a successful offense; a qb has to out the ball where you can get and they can’t, and that’s not always soft and on the numbers. When you get a chance to make a play you have.to.make.the.play. The vandy receivers and a couple of stupid penalties took them out of the game but Pavia himself was still pretty solid.

Uhhhh. Not sure what game you watched but The 2 Pavia red zone turnovers took them out of the game.

Bama covered and held them scoreless in the second half.
Yeah, good competitive first half, but Bama locked them down in the 2nd half. Vandy 2nd half possessions went 4 plays punt, 3 plays punt, 6 plays INT, 12 plays INT. Nothing doing for them at all in the 2nd half.

Watched the one played today, just saw it a little clearer apparently. Let me guess, you’re one of the ones that pinned our 2019 loss on Bentley amirite.

Pavia was good enough in the first half. Overall, kind of meh...60% passing, 1 TD, 1 INT. Ran the ball decent enough. Bama just totally locked down and dominated them in the 2nd half.

What? Ok. Pavia had two turnovers in the red zone, had a qb of 53.3 and they only had the ball for 23 mins and you thought the receivers were the problem? We must have two definitions of clearer.

Bama shut down the Pavia offense in the second half for the most part. I had absolutely no issue with Bama running in another td with 10 seconds left and the game in hand. Here's a pregame clip of Pavia practicing a victory kneel.

And that that cocky arse Pavia was practicing the kneel down before the game. At least he got to use it at end of first half!!! Lol.

Clearer means there were plenty of other players out there as well, including the receivers dropping the critical balls. What was Georgia’s ā€˜the problem’ last week?

I don’t give two clicks about Georgia’s problem. I was only pointing out your ā€œPavia was solidā€ comment was off base. But you do you! Keep on grinding on the Pavia hype train. Doesn’t bother me what so ever.

Live by the Sword, die by the sword.

The only reason Vandy had a shot in that game was because of Pavia.

He made two costly errors trying to make things happen and that's fine.

It would have been very interesting to see how that game would have gone if he hadn't fumbled in the red zone in the first half.

That would have put them up 14pts and Bama would have felt the heat.

Instead, they were able to settle into their game at home and let their vastly superior talent across the board take over.

Alabama was shuffling their fresh layers of talent in thoughout the 2nd half and Vandy's first team eventually started to gas.

Really good game by both teams though.

If our DL can't get around Bama's OL giants and put some serious pressure on Simpson, it's going to be a long game b/c he's really talented.

Gimme them clicks son, gimme them clicks!

Obvious you and a couple of the bot boys have a problem with Pavia. I just admire a guy that comes in this league and takes a team like Vanderbilt on his shoulders like that. Yes he did indeed get stripped on that one play, but it was short of the first down anyway and one of the vandy receivers right before that lost a throw in the left front corner of the end zone that would have put six on the board. But as you say, you do you, I’ll do I.

Vanderbilt football QB Diego Pavia opens mouth, leaves with foot in it

I'm in the camp that thought Bama might blow them out of the water. That didn't happen, of course, but it was a firmly decisive win by Bama. Their D completely neutered Vandy's offense in the 2nd half. It'll be interesting to see where Vandy goes from here. They have a bye then play LSU and Missouri. With their remaining schedule, I think I can see them getting to 7 wins if they don't trip up against UK or Auburn.

You've posted an article from the Bama press in an attempt to make your point. :)

Pavia played very well.

So did the Alabama secondary of 5-stars.

Try to understand the game a little better Botman.
