Feel like it’s good we caught them earlier in the year. They’ve got a pretty young team and have had some injury issues. It won’t surprise me if they go on a run later and are a scary 2 or 3 seed somewhere.
They’re not that good. The NIL & 35 scholarship era is not good for Vandy baseball.
Eh. I do think they peaked pre-NIL. But they’ve still done some good things in this era. They were the number one overall national seed last year.
I do think this era has clearly made it harder for them to be as consistent as they were in the 2010’s.
I feel like y'all might be digging the hole for Vandy baseball a bit early.
Yeah they've flamed out of the tourney too early lately. But have you forgotten so soon that they entered the NCAA tournament as the SEC Tourney champs and #1 overall seed just last season. Two one run losses left them in Nashville, but **** like that happens to good teams.
Anyway. They look down this year, but I'm proud as punch we whipped them 3 games.
