The theory on second hand smoke is that it is unfiltered where the person actually smoking has a filter. Neither is healthy. Not sure how that works with vaping though. Second hand smoke and it's impact on health is one reason it has been banned in public places.

The logic that 2nd hand smoke is unfiltered is faulty. Vaping isnt smoke but vaping does put a foreign agent in your lungs so it could be and apparently is dangerous in at least some cases.

Vaping is not smoke, no? Eh. I hate douchy vapers as much as the next guy, but is the nanny stateism really necessary? Vaping is safer than smoking I thought? The recent rash of hospitalizations stems from black market vape products.
