For some reason I've always thought that the home team of the 11/1130 game had more of an advantage versus playing later. I also have zero facts to back this up.

early games typically have less crowd noise and comraderie than afternoon or night games......I was actually hoping for night game for bama, and bring out the black jerseys......if early game, i wont be there...

If I recall we beat Florida in 2004, Bama in 2006 and 2007, and Auburn, Kentucky and UM in 2007.

This would be the game to do it. Nationally televised night game against UF. It's looking like the Alabama game is going to be early and I'd bet on the Ole Miss game being earlier as well. If it fires up the players, I'd love to see it.

I just dont like it when teams build the hype around them. I live in Georgia, and all i heard last year before the UGA v. Bama game was blackout. Alabama rallied around this and went into Athens and kicked ***.

I wish we would wear them unannounced. Kind of like Notre Dame does with the greens

What is the point? To intimidate? Look cool? I don't understand why you wear black when it has never been a part of your offical colors. Hey, I got an idea. Just drop the official colors all together and just wear a different color every damn week. That would be awesome.

FSU has one of the best looking uniforms with the garnett jersey and gold pants. However, they are to busy wearing every other combination. You never see the classic uniform. Same for Duke basketball. They wear the black so much. You never see their classic blue road uniforms. Stupid.

Well, like I said, wear a different one every damn week if it is such a windfall. Also, if a few dollars is more important than tradion and your identity, then make every decision based on the dollar. Forget putting the logo on the helmets, put a corporate logo. Don't play at LaTech, MTSU, or USM. Play in Ann Abor, Columbus(OH), and LA every year and pick up more cash.

Seriously, I doubt the money State makes on a black jersey amounts to much of anything in the grand scheme.
