Damn. I guess Vegas doesn't have much faith in Temple. 17 point underdogs @ Vandy.
Also, 28.5 point favs against the Mustard Buzzard. I think I would take USM at that price. I think we'll move the ball and probably pull the starters late. 42-17 type game after USM adds a late TD.
I would be pretty upset to give up 17 points to USM at home, especially considering all the garbage they've talked in the off-season. The mustard buzzards only averaged 17.1 a game last year, and honestly that number is skewed because they put up 62 on UAB in their final game. Typically defenses are dominant in the first game while offenses try to get on track. I hope it's more like 6 to 9 points or we could be in trouble defensively.
Depends on how they score the 17. If they get 10 or so against freshmen and walkons in the 4th quarter, I'd be OK with it. But I agree. I'll be very surprised and a little disappointed if they break double digit points against our 1st or 2nd string defense.
I think they're going to score some point this year. They'll have 7 at the end of the first Q and 10 at the end of the 3rd Q.
