The spreads keep suggesting that Nebraska is moderately better than the worst teams in the conference, but not by much. I hate, hate, hate -6.5 point spreads. They end up in outright losses, or sometimes 4 point wins.

-6.5 begs the everyday gambler to take the favored team to "simply win by a TD", and everyday gambler loses a lot.

Get ready for another close one folks.

The worst thing for me is it's an odd Friday night game. Nobody will be paying attention to it outside of the Nebraska fan base. It's going to be a rocky season, folks. We just don't have a superstar stud to make up for deficiencies (cough*pick 6s*cough). Gut is telling me 7-5.
