Vegas next week

Bunch of us will be out there. I always suggest downtown for an evening - better gambling, great people watching, and the surrounding areas outside the Fremont St Experience have really blown up with tons of restaurants, bars, etc.
Roll into town Wednesday around lunch and head out Monday afternoon. Cannot touching wait.
Vegas.com ran one hell of a promo during black Friday for 5 days. Any purchase got you a $50 gift card. We figured out that once you got the gift card and bought something else, it triggered another $50 card. We ended up with about $250 in free ish per person. Going to do a few shows an nice dinners this go around. Room was comped at PH and flights out of Lexington were actually reasonable.
BBN will be well represented. Know a ton of people going out.

I've done 3 & 4 days about equally over my 12 trips....4 this time, but 3 is the sweet spot imo.

Well I meant 6 days until the trip, but to your point, 5 days will likely kill me. I am fully prepared to have to sleep through Christmas.
This is my first coed trip. Will be the lassies first time going out, so I am pretty pumped actually. Have been going for a decade and never done shows, dinner or anything aside from gambling for 12 hours a day. Will be a way to break thinks up.

First Vegas trip gf/wife was underage but gambled anyway, she hit on something off a slot machine @ Gold Nugget but panicked and left machine. We'll never know what she actually won. Worst trip was we were back in our room about 9 the last night of our trip, done hit the ATM a few times and just couldn't afford to lose anymore so we called it an early night.
We usually take the early flight back home so we end up doing an all nighter before heading to the airport, got on a winning streak unlike any I had before but had to leave for a flight. Haven't been beack out there since 2007 and really wanted to make this trip but life gets in the way sometimes. Have fun everyone. Love that place, could live out there in a heartbeat.

The wifey, her nephew and me are going. Will get there Tuesday afternoon and get back to Louisville the following Monday at 10:20. We are catching the redeye back. Excited, 1st time going to Vegas. I'm not much of a gambler. We will probably take in a dinner show or two. Plan on going to Hoover Dam one day. Got any damn bait?
Did 8 nights back in 2015 and I think it took a year off my life. Bachelor party into a work trade show.
The anatomy of my Vegas trips are the same each & every time.
Day 1 - Drink entire flight, so overly excited to get going on arrival I have bad anxiety. Eventually shake that & go hard, but exhausted by midnight
Day 2 - absolutely crush/overdo it from morning til the next morning.
Day 3 - feel terrible, do my best to power through it. Spa/Nice Meal, some sports bets, mostly done with drinking/tables.
Day 4 - I hate Vegas, get me TF out of here.

We gambled during the day but mostly went hard at night as Vegas is jumping that time of day.
Talk about a 180 to Vegas, Atlantic City is a complete dump. It may be worth a trip to say you e been but you’re not really missing anything. Both Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun are better.

I always follow 3 rules when I go to Vegas.
1. 4 days/3 nights max
2. No more than 3 different kinds of booze in any period between sleep
3. If women want to come, reroute to somewhere else. Vegas with a sidecar is a huge downer. Did it once, will never happen again.

Cheap motel near the strip = great pot from the tourists.
I nearly smoked myself blind immediately after wedding from brother @Willy4UK wedding just from leftover grass.

In Tuesday, out Friday. Have to skip out on the Ohio State game because of the wife’s family Christmas stuff on the 21st. Oh well, she’s putting up with me taking this trip and going to the bowl within two weeks of each other, so I’ll survive.

Big fan of being out there during March Madness, went to the WACT in Mack the year Van Horn hit back2back buzzer beaters for Utah late 90s.
Me and 5 others arriving Tuesday , we are staying somewhere , hell I cant remember . Got seats 4 rows off the floor for Utah at face value the day they went on sale . Pretty jacked up for that . Doing the Santa Rampage on Fremont on Friday night. that will be WILD . Taking the red eye home on Sat night at midnight .. UGH . LOL
Man, the redeye return is the absolute WORST. Did it for SECT weekend this year b/c that's often the direct Southwest return flight, and it was half the points of the rest....never again.
Wake up wanting to get out of there, have to wait around all day (half of it without a room), and in no mood to drink or gamble -- it was absolutely miserable.
I guess if I had to do it, I'd book the room for an extra night just to have it for the entire day, but I can't imagine ever doing that again regardless.

There are few worse feelings than being hungover off a 4 day Vegas bender, rolling around your luggage, and hearing the continual sound of slot machine noises while trying to kill time before a flight. It gives me anxiety just thinking about it....
I have a sunday thing in Cincy that I had to back for . Couldnt get an early enough flight on Sunday to make it to an event I bought tickets for 6 months ago.
Whatever you do, make sure you get on one of these planes out of Vegas! It should be a hoot.

First time I’ve made it down there. Loved it... $5 craps and blackjack everywhere. $5 3:2 double deck at Cortez was incredible.
