Enjoy the ride at a national championship contender vs getting paid a little more and have a LOT more responsibility and headache.
Would you rather be considered one of the best at what you do and compensated appropriately or paid a little more and build and prove yourself in something that MIGHT work out. Coaches are very confident people but you also need to know your realistic capabilities and strengths. I think he's in a position to be very satisfied AND very picky.
