Good god man...

1. In the 1st Qtr of the Fla/Ark game, Mallet throws a bad pass that sails out of bounds to the right sideline. Verne Lundquist announces that the ball was intercepted as the ball rolls around on the ground 10 yards to the right of the closest Florida defender.

2. In the 2nd Qtr, Arkansas runs for a TD while a ref throws the yellow flag for holding. Verne announces that he stepped out of bounds even though the runner was never closer than 3 yards from the sideline.

3. Just a second ago, an Arkansas receiver catches a beautiful throw from Mallet, runs about 50 yards, and has the ball knocked out just as he crosses the goal. Verne says that it may be ruled an incomplete pass... WTF?

Verne is awful. I thought Sean McDonough was good, he left CBS for ESPN so he could do football and baseball?
