I don’t think human discourse is any less rational than it used to be. The differences to me come from the sheer number on conversations happening now and the lowered sense of accountability associated with not being face to face. Toss in a good dose of “no need to learn anything since computers/internet do it for me” and you’ve got youself a recipe for lazy discourse that usually drifts towards diametric polarity.
Oh, Yates is fine. Some people just get anxious when presented with anything more than a few sentences. Says more about those people than the people who are taking the time to thoroughly explain themselves and discuss things on a platform intended for exactly that. You don't have to AGREE with him, but attacking the length of his writing in any way other than just for fun is lame.

Lol na I’ve coped with Yates . I had to adjust. He’s cool. His posts are long and I have to put on my thinkings cap but I appreciate his posts. Don’t always agree but yea.
@PatrickYates I still think it is super strange you got banned over at TDD, especially if you think it was for being too liberal or something... the off topic there is basically liberals and that Sail and Lincolnwolf and Duke football guy, now that DSon and Co are gone.
People who think they are the smartest person in the room, are the most aggravating people to be around.
I'm not sure that having 20 minutes to read a post equates to being smarter, but okay. Perhaps being more concise and getting to the point quicker is actually a more accurate barometer of intelligence. Just saying.

The fact that this is being picked up by SportsCenter makes me think it's definitely Duke.

The quicker the better. Gives hof coach roy williams less time to get to Fla. with some "nanner puddin." The unc game ended and unless hof coach roy williams took a red eye he's gonna run out of time. If he took an early morning flight that it means wander williams would have to get up at 4 a.m. to make the "nanner puddin." That's gonna make it tough to get the "nanner puddin" to Vernon. We shall see, we shall see. If Vernon chooses unc look for little dabs of "nanner puddin" on his chin. OFC

I can only imagine how much Nanner Puddin is being served to Nassir and Coby to return next season. If Roy loses those two guys, I don't care if they have Cole Anthony or not, UNC will suck next season.
