I am a big Philadelphia Flyers fan and have been for a number of years(don't worry, it's not just a hockey post). After last night's win, the Flyers are poised to make history as only the third team in the history of the NHL to ever come back from a three game deficit to win a best-of-7 series. I was curious if it had been done before and ran across this article which I found very interesting and a good read...
It seems that this has only been done a handful of times across the sports of baseball, basketball and hockey. But this website determined that the greatest of the comebacks was mounted by the Boston Bruins...you may agree, you may not, but the article is still a great read.
Any article/website that has a definition for the world 'annihilation' in regards to what it means in a sporting contest is alright in my book...
Comebacks
