anybody been to the all start game in lynchburg?

Haven't been to the games since they've moved to Lynchburg. Coached in the game 4 times when it was in Hampton though.

When I was involved, we usually went down the day before the game and had a practice and then got up the next morning and had a shoot-around. Then we played the game that evening. In Hampton, we always went for a boat ride with the boys and girls' teams the night before the game too. It's a pretty neat experience but it's over rather quickly. Quick turnaround time.

Due to NCAA regulations prohibiting All Star games from being played on a D1 campus, the VHSCA All Star games will be played at Lynchburg College. The kids will come in on Sunday as Coach Hartman said, have a practice that afternoon, then have a fun evening, shootaround Monday morning, play Monday evening at 6:00. The kids usually have a great time mixing with girls from around the state. Look for changes next year though, as the games will probably be held the weekend after the State Tournament.
