but due to the schedule our record probably won't reflect the progression as much as it should</p>

I have heard this exact quote every year since 2005. Damn.

Mullen mentioned this at the Road Dawgs event in Jackson. Personally, I would rather we play them on the road than at home because we probably aren't going to beat any of them anyway. Last year we played the 3 previous national champions at home (UF & LSU) and lost both games. Having winnable games like Auburn, Arkansas & UGA at home helps more than having Florida, Bama & LSU at home.

that was our argument last year as well although RonnyAtmosphere vehemently disagreed. Just thought it was one of those "the more you know" type nuggets of info.

as an excuse for a subpar year, I expect a6 wins this year and abowl, but I don't see how we sneak more than 1win out of our away games, hopefully i'm wrong.

We had a historically hard schedule last year. While it will be difficult this season, it won't be quite as bad as last season. So, an improved team combined with an easier schedule sureseems like it should lead to an improved record.

ago. They are a now a 7-5 to 9-4 program again. Unfortunately, we are still likely to lose to them. I still remember the early 80s (when we beat them 5 in a row.)
