Vick Ballard 2012 1st rounder?

He has more rushing yards this year than Ingram had and I know Ingram won the heisman last year but I don't see any reason Ballard won't have a better year this year than last. Thoughts?

Players get drafted on potential to perform in the professional ranks... not on how well they performed in college. Sometimes, those two things go hand in hand... but this time, it does not.

This might be one of the dumber posts of this year.</p>

But it'll be late (4-7th round).

I could see him being an Ahmad Bradshaw type guy.

Only one RB was drafted in the first round, that's not a position that is going to see a lot of guys getting drafted or going early.<div>
</div><div>RB's have a short shelf life, there's not a huge difference in them, and you can find a good one on a street corner in Miami. Elite and even good DL guys are much more rare, which is why a lot more of them are picked early in the draft</div>
