I just can't even imagine how bad this is for the guy. You know he wants to play and had the talent to play and now he's going to lose two year? Really? I feel terrible for him.

What's the equivalent level set back in your field? Is there one?

Some of my high school friends played with Vick at MGCCC and when he signed at MSU one of them texted me and said "He's going to shock every single one of yall."

2 days ago I texted a different one of them and said "Did yall think that he was not only going to get drafted but that he'd bury the 3rd overall pick in the draft and a Heisman finalist in the depth chart when yall were playing alongside him? Guy has no hype, isn't flashy, but he produces. How is that?" and his response was "Guy is the most humble person I've ever been around. Earns everything, deserves everything."

Hate it for him. You can see how much respect he has around the Colts organization from all the tweets that have come out since it happened. Injuries are a cruel part of the game, but it's not fair for it to happen like this for Vick the way it did... too good of a guy. Right up there with AD and Pernell as far as the most approachable guys on campus while I was there.
