Why the hell is the women’s tournament in Greenville South Carolina? Like they need more of an advantage. Weird location choice.
Hell, they've had it in Albany Georgia. Greenville is a huge step up. We've enjoyed going there in years past, beats a big city like Nashville or atlanta.
Another SEC Women’s Tourney Championship, another absolute beating for Vic from Dawn Staley. I want to tell all the Texas fans “it’s alright. It’s just your first year. It will get better next year”, but that will be a lie. He’ll find a way to lose this game for the next 5 years.
ESPN mentioned earlier today that Mississippi State went to 5 straight SEC Championship games. The only time we won was the year we didn’t play South Carolina.

I don't know if she's the better coach, but she's damn sure the better recruiter. She's had much more talent in almost every game they've faced each other.
I dunno… I don’t think there’s a huge talent gap between South Carolina and Texas right now. Vic’s got the SEC player of the year Madison Booker and he’s been recruiting at a high level since he’s been there. Even if SC does have a better roster, it’s not 20 points better.
And if I’m way off base and she is out-recruiting him that badly, well shame on Vic, especially having the advantage of being at Texas, one of the richest alumni bases in the country.
Sc was more athletic, better defensive, much better shooters with more depth.They made Tx look like MSU Today, LOL.
All of Dawn’s teams are consistent.

I live in Greenville. We didn't go to the tournament, but we were downtown yesterday. It seemed to be really well attended judging by the amount of people in and around the arena.
Talent may be close this year, but the majority of their meetings were MSU USC. In most of those years SC had basically the best player in WCBB who is now the best WBB player in the world. And she routinely destroyed us.
I feel like Texas is just not playing that well at the moment compared to earlier in the season. Still winning, but not quite as dominant. They did split their regular season games.
I don't like her but a big part of that is her success. Gotta give carolina credit for holding on to her as well. 17 years. Didn't win first natty until year 9. Didn't win SEC title until year 6. Since then they have won either the SEC champ, SEC tourney champ, or national champ every year except one. She built it too because USC was hot garbage until she came on the scene.
i've been wondering this for years. I mean if dumps like greenville, sc and jacksonville, fl can get the sec wbb tournament, surely the powers that be in Biloxi/Gulfport could draw attention to the MGCC. seats almost 11000.
