This is what I was talking about in some other threads. I never felt like the refs were out to get RU. I just feel like they're terrible. I was afraid something like this might happen to us. As it turned out, I had no issue with the way the Indiana game was officiated. They did a good job.

Someone needs to explain how one ref saw this and correctly called penalty , then another ref said there was no penalty and made crew pick up flag ???

I was at this game - they picked up a flag on ASU for PI on a previous play and missed an obvious PI on ASU in the first half. I think they were just incompetent. ASU QB made a horrible decision on the pick 6. ASU probably should have kicked the FG but that’s 20/20 hindsight. BTW Husky Stadium is very nice and gets pretty damn loud.

Except the blatant bear hug holding on Powell right in front of the Referee. Resulted in his injury.

The offensive PI on Strong was horrendous.

Lots of calls are horrible but no reviews are ever shown.

I have photo of first and goal offsides. They showed one flash replay from side . It wasn’t a great play by D lineman , he split Tackle and guard before ball was snapped

FYI. Still can’t post photo and I’m not going to third party site to link

It is so blatantly bad and almost always favors the higher ranked team, easy to have those who look for nefarious motive.

Besides the UW/ASU game, just this week there was the spot on Houston’s last drive of the game inside Texas’ 10 yd line somehow coming up short to force a (future failed) 4th down play in a 7 point game.

I’m sure you guys that felt your boys have experienced something similar over the years.

The conference will work overtime to protect their highest ranked teams with a shot at the playoff. This is exactly what happened in our game vs. Michigan and what GS was referencing in the halftime interview. You could see him just resign himself to it after the long Monangai run was called back on a phantom hold because it would have put the conference's top team in a two score hole to a tremendous underdog. Michigan still has the horses to outlast us and make that deficit up but why take that chance? Unless we are utterly dominant from start to finish AS WELL AS fundamentally perfect, we have little to no shot at simply "hanging in and surprising" a team with a shot at a playoff. That's not to say our team can't do it, it's saying they won't be allowed to. If we were playing Wisconsin this week now that they have two losses, you'd see an entirely differently officiated game. The single best thing that could happen for us between now and Nov. 18 is for PSU to drop another one so they lose their protection as well.

I'm here for the conspiracy theorist party. I absolutely believe if you're not seeing it you might be blind.

The refs just suck crowd got big boost on the roughing the passer call on dolphins tonight.

I HATE when a terrible call is talked about for 5 seconds if at all , then it’s like it never happened

2 highlight shows didn’t even show horrible spot in Houston - Texas game before 4th down stop.

Agreed.. Strong (assuming you mean our game) did not move off his route AT ALL... he barely brushed by a defender who jumped in front of him... and that defender was not involved in the play AT ALL.

The official who called that.. either had the worst angle that made it look like something it was not.. or was biased.. or was betting against us.. or is insanely bad at his/her/their job.

We got teh first on the next play, IIRC... but that was bad. Some other official should have come over and talked the ref out of it. Check the video or something. That contact was absolutely legal and absolutely NOTHING. It reminded me of the targeting in the previous game.. no one calls that on a straight-on tackle of a running back. For a video booth to do it... that was nuts.
