it doesn't do a good job of promoting their season, but is a pretty cool video. Looks like a nikecommercial.

I pick the one with the Bear player running in an empty stadium. More realistic in my opinion.

put together better I think. It was like a NIKEcommercial. Good comparison. Their guy didn't look like he was running very hard except when it showed him running from the stadium view. Probably because they had to do like 10 takes.

Their's looked better visually. But that's it. Over half the video was just a guy running. Kinda boring.

Ours sounded like a terrible movie trailer..."YOUR TEAM, YOUR SEASON," just not very creative. We could have done better. But with our terrible university commercial with random people singing the fight song, I'm not surprised. We can market like crazy in all areas, except tv commercials. Kinda strange.

Looks like it was shot by an professional crew with top notch HD quality.. This is what irritates me about the commercials MSU puts out, including the university spots that air during the games. The video quality and production pales incomparisonto other schools. We really need to do better than a crew from WCBI coming out and shooting.

I still think it is much better than ours. We just don't seem to have the talent on staff to put together a commercial that does not make me think of cheese. The commercial with the fight song is awful. The new commercial is better than the fight song but still quite cheesy. Whoever post the different videos on here after each game does a much better job than our marketing department. They should contact him and allow him to produce a few commercials for their consideration.

I believe the guy doing them for ole miss is Micah Ginn. From my understanding, Boone was pressured into hiring him and he is a pretty talented guy. You can google some of his stuff. It will be interesting to see what else he comes up with if that is just his 1st.

the content is subjective to the viewer. I like ours better but its probably because I'm a State fan. I definitely can admit that there's is vastly superior in production value.

Not trying to take a cheap shot at OM, but why would they make a promo video using highlights from one of their most embarrassing seasons ever? I think its a pretty smart move to make a promo vid that has almost zero ties to last year.... why would you conjure up terrible embarrassment from last year in order to try to promote this upcoming year, that would be counter-productive.

The only thing I think they could have done regarding game-footage is to make some kind of historic promo vid using clips from some of their biggest moments in football history. That way they could conjure up old feelings of awesomeness in order to promote this upcoming season.

There's also a 30 second version, which will be used for actual commercials

Edit: And no we have not sold out of tickets yet. We were getting ticket sales updates every month in the form of, "we're ahead of where we were last year at this point!" But we haven't gotten an update in a while so I guess we've slowed down.
