Dope.

No Mercy was actually my favorite of the two. You had more weapons and more matches I believe.

Loved the Royal Rumbles too.

Loved all of those games. WCW/NWO revenge as well. It was all downhill from there for wrestling games.
Nothing like kicking somne *** with the oversized Austin foam middle finger weapon.

Those THQ engines were awesome for the wrestling games, as opposed to the awkward engine Acclaim used on the PS1 series, and slightly better than the Yukes engine for the Smackdown series.

It is bugging me that I can't find the name of this game, btw Barkley was on the Suns in 93-94, he was traded there during the 92-93 season. So if he was on the Sixers in this game it had to be pre 1992. I looked on wiki for all basketball games on Sega and found Pat Riley basketball, David Robinson Basketball, the Bulls vs Lakers games, Team USA basketball, NBA All star challenge and Tecmo Super Basketball.

Any of those the game that you played?
I would have played with the sixers b/c they are my team. So if Barkley was last on the team at the end of 93, I guess the game could have been 92 or 93ish.

It had to be either this:

1991: Bulls vs. Lakers and the NBA Playoffs, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, EA

or

1993: Tecmo Super Basketball, SNES, Tecmo

Now I'm thinking it was on SNES system.
Too much :cheers2:+[smoke] to remember correctly.

Yea, now it makes sense to me, Tecmo Super Basketball did have that one unstoppable player, lol. However, the Bulls vs, EA sports basketball games were my go to for years, then it switched to Live in 1995, but when NBA 2K came out in 1999 on the Dreamcast, I was hooked and it is still my go to basketball game.

My team that I am GM, Coach of is the UK Wildcats, I have the replica of the U.K. Court done by a fan, plus the uniforms. I then moved my team to KY and traded for all UK players, my roster is something like this....

Since you can only have 12 max, some players were left off, but I do platoon on this game and teams can't get close to keeping up.

Starters:
PG - Rondo
SG - Wall
SF - MKG
PF- A Davis
C - Cousins

2nd platoon
PG - Knight
SG - Bledsoe
SF - Booker
PF - Randle, Towns
C - Noel, WCS

So fun to play with this team and since I know these players style of play, I can crush teams with them. It's mostly run n gun, fast break, DDM, and focusing on D, letting the points scored just kinda happy.

Music to my eyes, Line. I was always a big ammo guy. You get so many points just dropping ammo packs around snipers on your team who just sit in the same spot the whole match. Every time they reload 25 points for ammo refill. Damn I miss battlefield now that Ive been playing star wars. Hardline just didn't quite do it for me.
I like running with assault and getting teammates up. I also do really well in the attack helicopter as long as the gunner is descent.

N64 was the height of my gaming prowess. I took down everyone in my freshman dorm at 4 man Goldeneye. I pioneered the process of throwing remote mines and detonating them midair.

I was also a G at Mario Kart 64 and Mario Golf. There is a large luck factor to Mario Kart since people in the back get better items, but I won much more than I lost due to mastering the powerslide and using it to quickly navigate every turn. My buddies and I used to play Mario Golf for $1/hole. That provided lots of beer money for me when I was broke.

Assault was the only class I didn't play much, because amazing as it is to have the best guns, it was the least well rounded (refresh my memory, Assault gave ammo and Support could heal and revive?*). Hated being assault then seeing a tank, and alI I could do was throw a few grenades at it to do like 10% damage. Engineer was the best. There was nothing you couldn't handle.

*Holy ish, reviving people. Just run around paddling people and grabbing 150 points lmfao. Or if they kept trying to come through a chokepoint, and you keep reviving everyone that goes down. Oh man. What a game.

The only thing with BF's was that they were fairly buggy, and the actual gunplay was just a hair under Call Of Duty. But otherwise, the Battlefields have been substantially better than COD since 2010

NHL 94...my roommate in college was actually better than me. I could take anyone else...easily. Red Wings were outlawed. He always went with the Sabres. I went with the Bruins.

Pat Lafontaine off the faceoff to Alexander Mogilny on the wing...he was unstoppable. I knew exactly what he was going to do, and couldn't stop it. Lost many a game 9-8 b/c of the final faceoff.

Haunts me to this day. TS.

:100points:

We played the absolute **** out of that, though to this day I don't think I've seen a full quarter of an actual NHL hockey game.

Would have crushed you with the Rangers, Messier was a boss and they had a RW whose name that I can't remember had a 99 on speed and was almost unstoppable, could count on hat tricks from them both.

Assault class heals/revives while support has ammo, c4, etc.

Lol. The Rangers were garbage on that game.

Red Wings
Blackhawks
Sabres
Bruins
Canucks

Those were the squads. Flames were sneaky good too.

I am the Galaga champion of the world. Haven't played in about 25 years…but you don't lose that kind of talent. It just hibernates until called back into action. Did/would currently destroy all challengers at that glorious game of skill.

Well that's the same team that won the Stanley Cup in 94, so there's that.

You truly are a terrible poster everywhere, I thought it was just in GYERO.

What does winning the Stanley Cup in real life have to do with the effing video game?

I would beat you 100 times out of 100 if you play the Rangers. Maybe 110 times out of 100.

Loservillecatfan, Leicester City is in 1st Place in the Premier League. You play them on FIFA 16, and I'll play with Chelsea, who is currently 13th. You should be fine with your logic of real life vs. video game reality. Good luck!

My Grandma used to have ColecoVision.

This game was awful, but I was able to master beating Clubber.

Nobody here plays, but I'd destroy anyone in Warcraft. And then teabag them.
