I remember being fooled by Croom speaking, but I think Croom was more of the effective speaking type.

What Mullen says, on the other hand, may not be exactly eloquent but it just plain makes sense. He has convinced me that he knows what the hell he is doing. I read the presser transcript and could visualize the focus in his eyes and determination on his face. It's a good, crisp, cold night to grow a little wool.

Im with you. I went to hear him tonight in jax and I had goosebumps. If hes nothing else hes hell of a salesman I believed every word he said. Hell he even said the d lineman from stark academy was one of the most underrated players in the country

/i am doing my best not to get woolly. it is going to take a little while longer than i want for improvements but i do see them on the horizon faster than Crxxked Hat could have ever done.

He may very well be right about that. I heard something said on radio earlier today that I've always believed to be true, and that is that the best programs aren't necessarily the ones that can sign the most 4/5 star players, but rather the ones who are able to spot the 2-star talent that everyone else overlooked. The fact of the matter is that not every top rated player will pan out at the next level, so you must have the ability to find the hidden talent to compensate. That's how you build a winning program.</p>

In basketball and football and Johnathan McKenzie looks like he could make some noise.

that his philosophy of signing alot of in state recruits this year and emphasizing that in his speeches is brilliant. This shows early on that these guys will have mississippi state as a home no matter what.

Yes, alot of mississippi recruits dont pan out. but many do. and if these seeds are planted this early that all great mississippi recruits will have the ability to come to mississippi will free up time and people to recruit out of state due to early commitments

It's nice to see our signees with other "recruited by" schools such as bama, LSU, florida instead of troy, middle tennessee and UAPB
