I am hard on Schiano but he is the right guy for the job right now.

Wondered what was going on with Max early. Kid played through a broken hand. Will be a great pro!

That’s why I never harp on kids game to game in this sport. Playing hurt means you’re 80-90% of your real self. But even at 80% Max was one of our best players all year long. And obviously at 100% he was our best player.

I know that Schiano referred to leaving before as a mistake, but today he called it a bone head move (I don't recall him using that expression before). I think he knows that it likely would have been special here had he stayed. I know he has no interest in going anywhere and it looks like RU wants to keep him until he retires
