My son said prayers for him tonight.

Hard to imagine what his mom must feel. We have his autograph on our posters from meet the players day.

It will hang in our house always.

Hard for me to read this tonight. As a parent, you walk around feeling like someone is kicking you in the gut all the time. Little girl is hanging tough, but you start thinking about it and it will bore a hole clean through your head. If you can spare it, give a few bucks in Nick's name to the children's hospital or Saint Judes, those people are saints, and Nick's cancer was a young person's disease.
I'm a cynical bastard, but during her treatments, people I didn't even know were leaving meals on the porch or a stuffed teddy, those kinds of things matter.
here's my little bullpup

words stir within me as I read them. Life takes on an incredibly different perspective when you have to stand by a hospital bed looking down at your child and you can literally do nothing to help them. My child, at the moment, is doing well but I can't imagine the pain of Nick's parents right now. That constant dull pain that I feel can hardly compare with what has to be an unbearable hurt that they must be experiencing. I would wish that on absolutely nobody. Again, may the Lord bless you, your family and especially your daughter while she fights!

St. Jude's is the #1 recipient of my annual charitable contributions, and always will be. Wishing peace for everyone.

As a seldom poster, this one is worth-while. My heart goes out to the Bell family, but also to you guys who are dealing with afflictions of this magnitude, whether children or not. It transcends athletics, and you guys are heroes- Sarcasm on a message board can, and should bow to your daily experiences. Prayers not only for those we know, but all of you who are unsung. Go Dawgs!

I'll make a donationto St. Jude in Nick's name. Counting his, this will be my third to St. Jude this week. Been a toughweek for us but a better one forthe children loved and treated by St. Jude.
