Blatant face mask on that safety for LA. How in the hell do the refs miss that? The QB's head got yanked all the way around with a ref staring right at it. That one would embarrass SEC refs.

That is awful. I mean, not only is it a facemask per the letter of the law, but the guy literally tackled him by the grabbing the facemask and yanking it down. He barely had a hand on him, otherwise

There was no way to Rams would lose with Cupp and Nikua both coming back on the same night. Something had to be done about the Thursday night game being so boring before this one. It was hard for me to watch because I don't care for either team, very interesting game. I watched most of this one on my computer and let the wife have the TV.



The NFL has a real problem with calls like this at the end of the game and no way to correct them as of now.

Simple solution. All calls are reviewable. But only if challenged. Review time capped at 60 seconds. If it can’t be clearly overturned by then, the call stands. If you challenge a call & lose its a time out. If you’re out of time outs it’s delay of game penalty.

They basically tried this with pass interference a few years back. Didnt work out well.

Time to accept missed calls are part of the game... until we get robots out there.

The minnesota coach said post-game, that the officiating didnt lose the game. I agree.
