Crazy that UK had coaches make the jump to Louisville of all schools. I know as fans we'd never do it but you'd of thought BBN would of rubbed off on these coaches a little bit.

Think Stoops gets 1 more year to suck then we can go big game shopping.

Dude has been coasting the last couple of years like the rest of the staff so this shouldn't be surprising. His recruiting fell off and he was always a lousy positional coach. I hope I'm wrong but this year has the potential to be our worst since Joker was roaming the sidelines.

Perhaps another signal that Stoops is done after this year. Thought they were "good friends" so this absolutely has to be another arrow pointing towards a Stoops departure.

Very true in going to be a LONG season I'm afraid but I hope I'm wrong.

Dead to me. I think this is worse than the Pitino betrayal because there’s no time buffer in between going to loservile.

LMFAO. Goodbye, Mantits Marrow. You really killed it in recruiting these last few years. And by that I mean, you killed the program.

Wow. I mentioned in the recruiting thread a few months ago that it was obvious Marrow was looking to bail this offseason. Got ripped by Rembrandt for it. But it was clear as day.

Of all the places to go, you go to Louisville? **** him.

I understand finding a landing spot away from the sinking ship.....but Louisville?!? Come on, Vince. That just sucks for someone so loved

I’m not surprised he left. I can even understand why he may have wanted to leave… But to go to Louisville of all places is certainly something lol.

I definitely think stoops is done after this. Not sure it will matter if we cant get the nil and revenue sharing in order.

Good news is there really isn't much yo recruiting these days. Just hopefully he wasnt the one who created the early recognition system we had.

I think we win 2-3 games max.

If Stoops can somehow pull off 6 wins, you gotta give him major props. He has major headwinds. This one probably stings pretty hard.

We will never get a coach that could actually make us competitive in the SEC. Stoops had it going for a couple years but we just need stability with a coach who can build a great team that can consistently win 8 or so games with an outside shot at 9-10 a year. I would love to be proven wrong but I’ve been watching Kentucky football most of my 40 years now. I haven’t seen anything that leads me to believe we can complete with monster SEC schools and the Ohio States of the world now that they will pay 50M for a team.

What a complete pile of excrement of a human being that guy is. Oh well, he probably belongs there. He barely speaks English.

Exactly the way I see it. Stoops knows he is gone and wants Vince taken care of.

I wondered if there was a rift last year over the weird bizarre usage of wimsatt. You could bringing him here was all vince. The he weirdly was rotated in at random times. Once he was finally benched and transferred, it felt like marrow wasnt happy.

We kept a very underperforming oc for continuity but now this. Will be curious to hear the terms.

Well, that right there might be the nail in the coffin after the season we are about to have.

He can pace the sideline and take his headset off 300 times over there. I never saw his upside

Well, this season is done.
This has 1994, 1-10 written all over it.

Dumbass could've gone to Michigan, and he's going to Louisville and fight for Mayo Bowl berths. I wonder if they'll be smart enough to keep him from coaching and wasting TE talent.

(God, I hope he doesn't make them better).

I would be interested in knowing the back story behind this. Obviously this move may be because he knows Stoops is on a rotten rope and he does like the state and wants to stay in it so the move to UofL makes sense if that's the case. Another thing to consider is player money. Some members are pointing to the fact that recruiting has been a bit off from what it was. Does that mean he has forgetting how to recruit? or is not putting in the same level of effort? or does it mean recruiting skills are no longer the primary thing to land a highly regarded recruit. In short maybe he is tired of getting out bid for players that he otherwise might have landed.

At any rate there is no way to put a happy face on this. People can dis Marrow to make themselves feel better but it doesn't change the fact that he is a Top 10 college football recruiter who just signed on with our worst rivel. Stoops is now left without his right arm. It's hard to see how he survives at this point save some major recalculations.

Him going to Louisville probably has a lot to do with him and Brohm being ex-teammates and friends. Seems like Brohm has been trying to hire him since he got there.
