Sanders was a full time starter last year. He hit over .300 and was excellent at 2B. Feel bad for the kid.

Looks like a kid with a 100 mph fastball who needed little else at the HS level.

Now he gets to learn to pitch. Hopefully he picks up enough to start helping at some point this season.

But wait until these Freshmen get better. They'll help us down the stretch. UCLA win or lose, we have a very talented baseball team.

We are doing what we all hoped and kinda expected, but tomorrow will be the first game we've played against a team that is a no doubt Omaha contender. We're going to play lots of them. I've got a feeling our coach is well aware and is communicating this reality.

Yep. Really live arm but cannot just overpower hitters with brute strength at this level without another pitch to keep them off balance. That 100 mph fastball goes a long way when it’s barreled up.

He may be lights out next year. But I’m not expecting a whole lot this year.
