Cord has moved up his visit to this weekend. It's going to be the FL & MS recruiting weekend. I don't know if it has anything to do with JD possibly coming the next weekend (after ASU visit).

That next weekend J. Ford will be paying his respects to our lovely campus. This is huge for us. I read on a board that Vandy's recruiting him as a DB. State has played this one really cool, but it looks like we will get the last at-bat. This would truly be a walk-off home run. Oh, and by the way, this is the weekend for all the AL recruits.

I really like the way this class is shaping up.

If we were able to pull Ford, the Alexander brothers, and O'Korn or Dobbs, I'll be happy as hell about our future. I also think we have a shot at Toby Johnson. It should be another top 20 class to add along with last year's class. This is the depth Mullen has been talking about. If we continue to recruit at a high level like this, we will soon be where our 2 deep is full of 4/5 star players with a ton of quality 3 star guys. Whereas right now, we have lots of guys on the 2 deep that are 2 stars. I realize stars aren't everything, but I tend to think higher ranked guys are consistently better than the 2 star guys. We should start to see the fruits of the recruiting labor pay off in the next few years.

It used to be only MS commitments. Then the Alexanders were added. Then Cord was added this week. But yes, it was scheduled for 1/25.

Four and Five star players ALONG with a ton of high three stars instead of three stars with a ton of two stars on the two-deep.

That could be set up as soon as early next week... Dobbs is on the clock right now, and we're expecting to hear something one way or the other certainly by this weekend....
