I love the guy who said I don't think either team had a catch by a TE? I wish Malcolm Johnson and Marcus Green would have done something last night.

Typical UT fans..

I work with a couple of UT fans and all week they were telling me they were going to beat us by 20 pts and thought it was absurd that I thought State would win this game. UT fans are stuck in the past. It's funny reading that they think they should have won by 20 pts when I feel like we should have beat them by 20 or 30 points. Hell, if we tackled last night, the game would have been over by half.

And every one of their asses said that they had the better team w more talent. My question is WHERE? Who was better last night? Bray or Russell? Who was better last night? Our rb's or theirs? Go on down the list. The only person on their team better than us was Patterson. That dude is a player and their coaching staff should be fired for not getting his hands on the ball more.

Screw UT and their oblivious fans. The game I saw showed me who had the better players and coaches and the best damn atmosphere around to watch it.

Patterson single handedly kept them in that game. The KO return was absurd. Take that away and give us a kicker and its 30-7 at half. Then the 2nd half starts with him turning a 2nd and 20 into 1st down at midfield all by himself. Instead of us probably holding them 3 and out and getting good field position, they end up with a TD. We could've salted the game away the first drive of the 2nd half if they don't have Patterson.

That board is the epitome of UT fans and is naturally chock full of retards. They think they have an entire NFL team on their roster. They also think they have a shot at hiring Mullen or Stoops to replace Dooley. UT is in complete denial of just how bad their program is and how bad nobody wants to touch their entire situation. They deserve everything they are getting right now for what they did to Johnny Majors and even Fulmer....fired a national title head coach a year removed from winning the division. Hopefully they'll fire Dooley, hire Butch Davis or some other retread, and get put on probation and be terrible for 10 more years.

I've seen multiple posters claiming Gruden is a legitimate possibility. That's enough to prove UT's level of insanity.

What says he isn't a possibility? From all I've heard, he wants to get back to coaching and he'd rather be in college. UT is a huge program.

I actually think they have a shot at Gruden, so....

If they can come up with about $5 million/yr. He has strong ties to UT. If any college team does have a shot at him it is Tennessee.

You realize Bell had made 8 straight before that one right?

It's time for people to get off the kids back. He's a true freshman that struggled off the start but has really been playing well. People miss field goals sometimes.

They keep talking about stars. Who CARES about 17ing recruiting stars? It'd be boring and time consuming so I'll pass on doing the work but just go look in the 17ing NFL. There are HUNDREDS of contributors, starters and stars in the league who didn't even get 1-A offers, much less were five stars on Scout.

How dumb can you possibly be? It's like they think some Scout writer is the final authority. Go look at Auburn for 17's sake.

I love the guy who's looking at recruiting rankings and is befuddled at how the "less-talented" teams are winning. It's almost like stars aren't the final word and he can't figure out why.

Un-17ing-believable how dumb some people are.

The wind had a definite effect on the kicking game. Couldn't feel it too much in the stands where I sit, but you could see it when we scored with the smoke from the fireworks ... fast and swirling. When the Tennessee punter shanked the ball, it was (literally!) going backward by the time it hit the ground.

I think the FG that we missed was about 41 yards ... more like 50+ with the wind and worse with the swirling wind.

So State dominated for 3 quarters and Tennessee did for 1 quarter(3rd) but they have the better athletes?

Surprise, surprise.

They act just as idiotic after a loss as in the pre-game mouthing. Really the only areas where they may have more talent are O-line (slightly overall) and wr. I am totally fine with our backs (present and future) we just need that big play group of big WR's which we are addressing this year. Come on over Rumph!

What recruits were there? It was a good one for recruits to be attending.
