No rock, just don't believe everything I read on the On3 Husker boards.. I saw the picture, nowhere did mention anything about CK just " I can't say what I want without people getting mad" No mention of him, the incident, etc. just assumptions that that is what she was talking about.. I find it comical grown *** men with 2 pages of comments dogging a 20 year old girl they don't even know
Charlie Kirk was a GREAT man.

What do you think?

This wasn't meant as a general question. Thanks for your candid response, however. Noted.
You did ask "what you think?"

Seemed like an open question to me, so I did respond. As far as candid, I always think that mixed with respect is a good combination.

Trust me, I have other combinations for other situations!!

Merry Christmas!

Everybody has an opinion. I do not like Murray for a number of reasons, none having to do with Charlie Kirk or the mess Harper got in two years ago. From what I hear she wants to be the "queen bee" and her clique is disruptive to the overall team chemistry. I have one source that is reliable and most all that I hear about Murray is not good. Do I hope she enters the portal or leaves to go overseas to play, yes I do. But I also wish her well and hope she is able to have success wherever she ends up, be it this year or next year.

While that might be true, it sort of seems like the chemistry is pretty good. Didn't they almost win it all the last 3 years? I guess they blew it this year, so maybe that was a chemistry thing.

Define great man. I don’t agree but as spectrum stated I don’t feel he should have been offed for speaking his beliefs
It was his opinion, Charlie was a great man just because some people didn’t like his open dialogue doesn’t take away from him being a great man

Yea and then he asked what I thought which is why I said define great man. But either way this is getting wayyyy off topic.
Merry Christmas everyone.

My guess is that Kirk was pretty much just like all of us, a pretty good guy, nice neighbor, a good friend, all those things. A pretty normal everyday guy.
Pretty much like most people.

Knowing several people that coach them - All girls/women's sports teams have cliques, I can't imagine trying to coach them, especially at this level where they also have big egos and want to get lots of attention on TikTok/Instagram.

CK was more than just a pretty good guy...pretty good guys do not have the positive effect he did, in life and death, on so many people. He was special.
So what was he?

Say...Father Flanagan is at the top

Ted Bundy at the bottom.

Cause I still feel like he was just a pretty good guy, which is a nice compliment still.

He literally started Turning Point as an 18 year old right out of high school. He grew it to what it is today. This in itself is unbelievable accomplishment that makes him more than just a regular guy.

He debated people all over the world including some of the most prestigious Universities in the world. He had a podcast, Turning Point, Turning Point Faith, and his own show.

He was an ambition machine and an unbelievable mind. It’s truly unbelievable what he has built and the impact he has had on the conservative movement.

Where was he like the rest of us? He was a good man, passionate about his family, wife and his faith. The only downside was that I don’t think he was a Husker fan?

Just to be clear...anyone that starts something "at a young age" and gets people to follow...is a great person?
