A guy just slightly larger than me, a couple of inches taller than me, 20 or so pounds heavier than me, 45 years younger than me, had the balls to line up every weekend against the best in the SEC and do the best he could.

He was a freakin' walk on volunteer, if he's not a bulldog to the core, none of us are.

Get off your fat *** that never did anything and vote for him.

The guys who have won this in the past were deaf, born without an arm ... stuff like that.

I know Tyson gave his all, but I don't think this is the award he needs to be chosen to win.

But I wasn't much larger earlier in life.
My family tends to be skinny and live to about 90 or so.
It's our curse.

you could have lived your life being a complete fatass and die at 50. Hopefully I'll be the skinny 90 year old.

In saying that, there's no way in holy hell I would put myself through that kind of punishment like he did. I voted for him.

Was Rudy the worst QB to ever walk on the field at Notre Dame? Did he throw multiple interceptions per game and fumble the ball all over the field several times over the course of a season? Did Rudy, despite the rest of his team playing their asses off on both sides of the ball, single-handedly kill any chance his team had of winning games? Even if his team was in the game, did Rudy <17> up and take them right back out of the game over and over and over? If so then yeah, Tyson Lee is just like Rudy. Otherwise, Tyson Lee deserves that award about as much as anyone else on this board.

the season is over. Just give the kid a little credit. Tyson Lee did everything he could. Did he make some mistakes and force some things? Absolutely. Maybe it was because SOMEONE had to make a play in order to win games, especially when you have the toughest schedule in the country. So find someone else to get hard over.

here is a reason that the season is over dumbshit, and it's name is Sly Croom. You were close though. It's one thing to hate the guy during the season. He will never play again, and I think everyone can be happy about that. But if you think he is the reason we aren't bowling, then I'm afraid I cannot help you with your problems.

Which players on our team didn't give 110% every game? Are there any that you would not shake their hand if you saw them on the street? The only thing that Tyson did more than anyone else on our team was suck more. The guy doesn't deserve an award because he was terrible. The rest of our team should get an award for playing their asses off every single game and still losing because of Tyson.

yeah i would say most did give the effort and yes i would shake their hands. but how many of the other players on the team were that undersized, were not recruited, walked on, had little talent, etc. etc.? you my friend need to chill the 17 out and give the guy a break. who else would you have started? tim tebow, ryan mallet??? oh thats right state didnt have a qb even close to that caliber.

Lee's play or lack thereof, cost us every game we lost....
Besides the alabama game, Lee had a major hand in every one of our losses, yes, and he had a major hand in that one as well, although the entire team did as well. That one was just a big difference in talent all over the field. Our entire team played at 110% the entire season. I don't understand why Tyson Lee deserves some award for doing what everyone else on the field did, but just sucking really bad at it. It makes no sense, and is an insult to every other player on our football team.

to recognize what was so obvious to you. He should have kicked Lee off the team because he sucked worse than anybody else. What does that say about Mullen?

I guarantee Mullen would do some things differently this season if he could. I guess he expected Tyson to not be as bad as he was each game. Relf would play a lot more, there is no question about that. I don't have a problem with Mullen, and I don't have a problem with Tyson. I have a problem with idiots like you trying to make the guy out to be something he is not. He didn't play harder than anyone else on the team. He didn't cure cancer, he didn't stop any wars. All the guy did was completely suck at football, he doesn't deserve an award for that. Would you give Henig any awards? I sure as **** wouldn't.

I just find it amazing that you would lay all of our losses at the feet of Lee. He contributed but he was by far not the only guilty party. Your problem with me is that you are an arrogant *******. Given the choice, I'll take idiot any day...

You don't have a choice, you are a <17>ing idiot. What is your point or argument? I said before that Lee had a major hand in every one of our losses. You just said he contributed in them. Make a point or shut the <17> up.

You lay all the blame on one guy. I pointed that out. I said he contributed but was not the only one. You then called me a 17 Idiot. You are better at name calling than you are at arguing your point. Your response is typical of arrogant ******** who do nothing but *****.

Ok, I'll go slow for you. I didn't realize that you were challenged. The thread is about Tyson Lee getting an award for some **** that he doesn't deserve. I said it is insane to give the guy an award because he had a major hand in all of our losses. That means he played by far the largest role in all of our losses, he might not have been the sole problem in each loss, but he was by the far the biggest problem in each loss. He was a terrible quarterback. He didn't play any harder than anyone else on our team at any point in the entire season. Giving him an award for anything is a huge insult to the rest of our team. Please see if you can respond this time without calling me an arrogant ******* and then telling me that I am calling you names.

hey dumbass, quit posting the same **** over and over. we get it....tyson lee sucked. the award is not for the heisman, its not for the mvp, its not for the best player on the team. its a rudy award...as in rudy-the guy that was undersized and should have never even been on the notre dame football team. its an award for somebody that did something not likely. for someone like tyson lee who doesnt possess the size or natural ability to play qb in the sec, but yet hey guess what, thats exactly what he did. he might have sucked at it, but was rudy all american at notre dame? NO he got in for one play.

OOOOOOOOOOOkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. Lee played well enough to help us win several games. MTSU for one. You say he played the biggest role in our losses. We had missed tackles, blown coverages, missed blocks, fumbles (11 in three weeks), dropped passes and poorly run routes. IF you want to assign percentages he would wind up with anywhere from 1% to 25%, depending on the game. If you give him the majority of credit for the losses, then you must give him the majority of credit for the WINS! UM game goes to Relf for his second half play. You don't like Lee's play. Fine, by your reasoning then, he gets credit for 4 of our 5 wins. You cannot assign him most of the blame for losing if you are not willing to give him most of the credit for the wins.

Now, that was without calling you a name or using any words over three syllables. Should I try again with two syllable words?

A post season award of any kind is positive publicity for the university. The kid had limitations athletically, but gave everything he had. Havent movies been made lately about feel good stories. Dixon gets Conerly, Bumphis on All SEC Freshmen team, and Lee for Rudy award. These are the type of marketing stories and stories that generate news. Good news. Get with the program and do what you can to help OUR football player win an award that is an honor.

I mean, Lee's the only MSU player I saw on that list.

And, you can vote more than once.

It would be great see wee Lee with the "V." And, I mean that in a good way.
