Not surprised districts were overturned but I am surprised at how convincing the change in direction was from the membership. Was expecting a narrow margin .No more districts. Only proposal to fail was shortening summer contact to 20.

A few other interesting notes in these votes:
- Contact limitation vote was rejected
- Player ejection suspensions for following game can be appealed
Number 2 is a good one. I remember the wrong player getting ejected because the numbers were similar. 79 got ejected when 74 should have been ejected. It will be nice to be able to at least appeal the decision.
Montini had a high level player ejected in a first round game a few years back against Ignatius. Total BS and nothing could be done to stop the suspension.

Did the IHSA put out a proposed district projection to schools? If not, how would we know what it would have been?We have to pass it to see whats in it?
Well we saw what it would look like.
We rescinded it.
Shame Washington doesn't work this way.
Yes they did. And I believe that was the beginning of the end when most schools saw what the possible reality would be.Did the IHSA put out a proposed district projection to schools? If not, how would we know what it would have been?
If you're basing your thoughts about district projections on Soucie or others who have a mock district projections, that is not fair. Nothing against Soucie or others who give projections, but it is not official or coming from the source that will do the actual scheduling.
