I can see VT making a good showing. But I can also see Vandy waxing them, only to make our (offensive) ineptitude against VT all the more confusing/disheartening.
Yes, VT starting off with 2 SEC teams, I don't know when they scheduled it but probably did not know about Diego, but anyways kudos to them.

I'd bet on Vandy if I was a betting man. It says a lot about the quality of VT football that they are a pick em game with Vandy.
My cousin is the Hokie kicker, so go Va. Tech. A great kicker and even better young man.
That kick he made before the half was impressive. From then on, I was afraid if the game came down to field goals, we would lose.
Shurburtt mentioned that both starting kickers in the Carolina-VT game played at Spartanburg high. How ironic.
I see VT responding to the loss they took to Vandy last year and winning by two scores. I think VT is more talented and got surprised by the Pavia factor last year. Think Vandy takes a step back this year. Everybody is going to be ready for Pavia because he talks too much.
It's impossible to know, too early, but my hunch is VT will win by 3 at home. They played, what looked like to me, good disciplined football against us. I see VT's QB and WRs hooking up for a couple of scores and their defense being tough enough.

Would we prefer to play Vandy coming off of a win or a loss? I’m really confused on who to pull for. At first I wanted VT to win to make the VT win a higher ranking win. That bodes better for us for playoff contention. I guess the best is to hope for VT to beat Vandy and then both of them play very well for the rest of the season
I went to see a Spartanburg high school game years ago to see a relative friend play. I came back and told my brother-in-law Spartanburg high school had a great kicker and punter. Fast-forward and I didn’t realize that was the kid who was kicking field goals for Virginia Tech the other day. Good for him as he is a Hometown boy.

I admit, I thought VT at home would be able to pull it out. Two things, ACC like every year, sux, and cocks win wasn’t as impressive as I had at first hoped.
