Well done W&L (also a big difference than last year close game v Middlesex)

Rappahannock rolling 2A Naudua 54-8.

Essex destroys Sussex.

Have not heard on CB yet v a 3A.

Northumberland should roll tomorrow.

The NND may have 5 top State Top Ten teams this year (definitely 4).

NIce - CB avenged last year's close loss v 3A Spotsy!

Amazing if you think about it - CB has only around 190 kids in a working class area (like all the Neck) and knocked off a school with over 1,100 students. That is just plain bad a--.

Congrats CB.

Colonial Beach won 14-7. Upsetting former head coach (Jeremy Jack) and defensive coordinator (Scott Foster). This was a huge win for the small program of CB, next two games are going to be a tall mountain to climb, having a bye then Sussex followed by Franklin.

As mentioned before, this is going to be a banner year for NND Football.

I spoke with an Essex fan in town today - we both said what a shame only one of the Neck teams can advance past Region A
(and we all know who the heavy, heavy favorite is).

Still, it will hopefully a spirited race until the end...you never know (even though the odds might be tough.... that's why you play the game).

CB can beat any team, on any given night. Essex was favored to beat CB during the 2016 season, however CB came into Essex (on their homecoming) and held them to under 40 yards of offense. Should be interesting to see this season unravel.
