I really like the scheduling job we did here. Some good tests. Some teams we will beat even worst case scenario. And a lot of home games. Now... Give me your best/likely/worst case scenario heading into SEC play.

Best: 11-2
Likely: 9-4
Worst: 7-6

Best 10-3, we ain't beating @Utah St., Florida Gulf Coast, UNLV/Santa Clara

Most Likely 9-4, think we lose to South Florida too

7-6 worst, we'd have to lose to Loyola and TCU here or a suprise team like SE Louisiana

I love it. We have a decent chance to match our season win total from last year before we play an SEC game.

You know this team isn't going to the NCAAT, so you just wanna build confidence and get as many wins as possible, even if it's against a lot of SWAC teams.

The SEC will be awful again, so it's not impossible for us to end up with 16 to 18 wins. Which would be about the same as the very talented "Who's Suspended This Week?" team of 2010-2011.

What I'm excited about...

is the addition of at minimum 5 new players and potentially 6 or 7 or even 8 with DeRunnya and the other two rumored quality walk-ons. Just the ability to play that many guys (17 total players) before any attrition happens is bench rich. We went from being almost without a bench to having 12 extra guys ON THE BENCH. Does this mean Ndoye and Ready redshirt? Could Ray possibly consider redshirting a sophomore or Bloodman whose a junior? This is UNHEARD of in basketball. That would be amazing to have a guy like Bloodman redshirt and stay through graduation. He might not be all that right now but 3 years down the road in a consistent workout program and a structured environment he might end up being a pretty scrappy player for us.

I'm not. UNLV is a good team. They just had the #1 pick in the draft. It's going to suck to get our *** kicked by them while DeVille drops 20 on us.
