Yeah my wife hated this episode and I was getting bored watching it. I guess we won't have to have a back story of Ezekiel being a zookeeper in the coming episodes since they explained it already, so that is a plus.

Meh, I'm ok with it. You can't give the audience episodes like last week every time. It takes away from when you do make an episode that gripping.

I was fine with tonight, even though I get it was boring compared to last week. However most episodes are boring compared to last week's. It got us introduced to the kingdom **** quickly, we got Ezekiel's backstory without an episode, and we got his connection to the saviors. While it was filler, we got some levity from last week's episode, and quickly brought up to speed with the Kingdom.

Only thing I hated was Carol is a little ***** again. The show had done a really great job of making her someone that life had kicked in the shitbox repeatedly, and was able to take this new world they were given and become one of the strongest. Now she's a whiny C U Next Tuesday that pretty much wants to die, and they really never gave her a reason for such a character shift.

episode was ****, as will all episodes following be that don't feature Negan killing some stupid sonofabitch.

Really don't care a bit about The Kingdom (what they called the neighborhood where I grew up where all the blacks lived in town), Carol, or that dude's name that beats people with his stick. Hope they both die.
I get the feeling you want this show to be one big snuff film starring Negan.

goddam right. Kill em all. Give him his own show where he talks **** to everyone he kills for 5 minutes and then beats their faces in and pisses on their potted meat head.

How about make it a game show and each round the contestant with the lowest score gets their head bashed in? Do that until you have one left and the winner is spared.

It seems they are gonna follow this story pretty true to the comics, meaning Maggie going to Hilltop is going to be muy importante later.
Well, on talking dead, they said, in the comics, both Carol and Morgan were dead long before the kingdom was introduced. So, not so true to the comics after all.

No, the show has some differences, but just because two characters that are dead in the comics are still alive, doesn't mean they aren't following the source material. In the comics Rick is knocking boots with Andrea right now, but in the show, she's long dead. However they still follow the source material, as it is almost identical how he hooks up with Michonne in the show.

And Carol is taking Michonne's spot as Ezekiel's woman.

Can Negan kill the people that write the comics also while he's at it?
Id love for the two writers to die in a plane crash, then leave all the comic books in limbo and it never be finished. Itd be like 15+ years invested into a fiction never to be completed. Ppl would commit suicide

It's like George R. R. Martin, except they'll actually write the story in time for the TV show.

Crazy how that works.

Oh and George R.R Martin writes great story lines, unlike the 400 copies you have of lame prison/wandering woods/the whole anticlimactic terminus/more walking around/dont forget the awesome we finally made it to a stable community story arc. You could pretty much cut Rick to Negan and no one would give a F about what happened in the middle it sucked you know it we all know it. But you keep riding that Fan boy cart if you want. GOT> TWD in every sense of the show. TWD crawled for years and the writers didnt even try to boost the pace. GOT gets through the 1000 page novels and it goes to straight chaos. TWD is merely making you watch slow paced story shows for $$$$$.

[laughing]

Sorry to have triggered you, Francis.

I watch TWD because my girlfriend likes it. That's it. Definitely not a fan boy, so I don't have a dog in this imaginary nerd fight that's raging in your mind.

Relax, man. Deep breaths.

That was a pretty dull episode. Negen (sp) is a little too weird, the previews for next week looked like Rick is going to just bow to him. I'd have a sniper up and take him out as soon as he walked through the gate.

And then you and everyone you know would be killed when his followers came to exact revenge.

Negan's group is massive. It would take Alexandria plus a couple of other factions working together just to put up a fight.

Negan is a sociopath that has figured out how to get the most out of this world. So what if he bashes some heads and enjoys it? He keeps his people safe, and gets the job done. I could make an argument that his character makes the most sense in this world.

As for having a sniper ready, Negan also plans for everything. This is a dude who knew every move Rick was going to make trying to get Maggie to the Hilltop. He wouldn't only expect Rick to make a move at his first visit to Alexandria, he will plan for it. Plus, this is exactly what they tried doing in Speerz's favorite three words, IN DA COMICS! It didn't work out so well for them.

I didn't mind last night's episode. It was nice seeing someone who Negan can't break their will, compared to someone who Negan had broken. Also, it showed that even though he was "free" in Negan's world, Dwight was in his own personal Hell.

I think when it is all said and done, Dwight and Daryl will lead the Saviors when Negan falls, Maggie leads Hilltop, and Rick in Alexandria.

i feel like negan's way of ruling has huge chinks in it. i mean obviously he creates resentment from every person he breaks, and he is the one that gives all the orders. you would think one person would be like eff it and shoot him in the head.

Would killing Negan actually accomplish anything since they are all Negan? Would a 2nd in command just move into his place as Negan? Maybe all of the Negans would kill each other over who should be in control or fall apart due to lack of leadership and fear to keep them in line.

Something else I haven't seen much discussion about are the pigs. What happens to people who eat pigs that ate zombies that ate people? It's like a vicious circle of life (or is it death). I don't think it means anything in the show since you aren't seeing zombie pigs, horses, dogs, etc. running around. Unless it can taint the meat and make the people who eat it sick. That would be a great way to get back at the Saviors. Have them all slowly die off from like ecoli or something. Have a bunch of people running around puking and sh* tting all over themselves.

Someone should make a meme of Negan holding Lucille with Trump's face superimposed asking:

"Pissing our pants yet? Boy, do I have a feeling we're getting close. It's gonna be pee-pee pants city here real soon."
