I wouldn't say years like 6 or 7. I believe it has been like 3 years in real time on the show so lasting 2 or 3 seasons isn't that much longevity. Glenn is the only minority to last a while and he is gone now.

Actually Michonne might be catching up to Glenn in the time he was alive and part of the show. I don't count minorities who have just recently appeared on the show. It doesn't matter if they have lasted as long as the main group if they haven't been on screen at all.

Bob lasted the equivalent of a couple of months in real time as he was there for the end of the prison and died on the way to Alexandria.

Tyreese lasted a little longer, at best maybe another few months.

T-dogg was alive for the few weeks they stayed in Atlanta, then the couple of months they were on Hershel's farm, and died not long after they found the prison.

Noah we barely got to know before he ate it.

Glenn is the only minority who has died that lasted YEARS in the timeline, as you put it.

Tell me a drink that wouldn't be awful by their point in the apocalypse. They are somewhere around a year and a half into things. Judith is the marker to track this, she's under a year old, and nine months of pregnancy. Any soda should long be flat, beer should be skunked.

I think it is actually almost 3 years. Judith was a toddler when Tara was just talking to her. So she likely is coming up on 2 years old. Add about 9 months for the pregnancy and probably 2 months before she was conceived and it should be upper 2 year range.

I don't think anyone knows for sure. I don't even think the writers for the show really are keeping up with it. I believe Negan mentions something about a few years in one of the episodes. If it is less time then I said they did a poor job casting Judith.

That soda that Doc Lesbian took an arrow to the eye for so Tara could be happy, she might as well have given her botulism or dysentery. Think about the pretzels Dwight brought for his woman last week, you think two year old rold golds aren't gonna be stale and hard as bricks?

Plus, enjoy your vehicles while you can, gas should be separating into its individual components any day now if it hasn't already started. That happens around 3 years of stagnation.

Wasn't doubting your drink issue. Just been trying to figure out the actual timeline on this show. It is hard when you have a kid age like 7 years in real time, but only 2 to 3 in TV time. So you can't judge it by him. Unless Judith is a bad casting, then you can only use her to try and figure it out.

I think it took 2 months for Rick to wake up with Shane abandoning him after like the first 2 weeks. So someone had to take care of him for over a month still or he would have died. I don't know how long it took him to:

Walk home
Meet Morgan and find out what happened.
Drive towards Atlanta until he ran out of gas.
Find a horse and finish ride to Atlanta.
Meet Glenn and the survivors.
Cuff Merle on the roof.
Wear zombie guts to get vehicle.
Drive survivors back to the other survivors. Surprise cheating wife.

I'm guessing that part was just a day or two and that means cheating wife only lasted about a few weeks before being taken for a ride on the Shane train. So that would be 11 to 12 months max until Judith showed up. The only question then is how old she is now? Maybe I will start the series over and take some notes since I don't have anything better to do until the tournament starts up. [laughing]

I think it's much more than just 1-3 years. That baby hasn't aged in the same linear pattern that Coral has aged. Dude was like 10-11 when the whole thing started and now he's like 18. That baby got isn't aging.

Humans aren't going to age at the same rate as the TV show when they are dragging out the TV show as severely as they are. Just because Carl has aged 7 years in real life doesn't mean the TV show timeline has progressed the same.
