You know, Coach Mot had a couple conversations with the refs. He hasn't done that that I remember. Holding calls and dropped passes or the game would have been over early 3rd quarter. Only WRH can stop WRH's offense. I hope we play SC,SWO,Northeastern. On the road we go. Drive 4 Five
We were up 28-13 and started getting sloppy. Ed didn't give up. We should have tacked on another score or two (took a knee at the 10 yd line at the end) We do need to put together 4 qtrs. Tonight's game reminded me a little of the Clinton game with sloppiness(lots of penalties). Overall good football game Ed has a good team and should go at least 3 RDS, maybe 4 RDS in playoffs. Good crowd tonight too

I just can't understand why we didn't kick a field goal with 2min left, 4th and 10 at their 10yd line. Would have put the game on ice. We were up 28-20. Someone please explain our thinking. It would have been almost like an extra pt. Smh
Olddog we didn't get sloppy the refs just called two fake penalities ,now the false start yes I can see that one no penalty is good but good teams no matter who always has those from middle school all the way to the pro ..but I get what u saying..
I remember someone telling me not to talk much about penalties when we played ED on air. Well you guys had some bad calls go your way. Clinton had like 16 offensive procedure penalties and ED had like one holding call against them. Clinton lost and hats of to ED they were the better team that night but the flags flew a plenty against us now against WRH. It’s hard to win at ED.
Gosh there is a lot of kid stuff on here but did anyone notice that ED's best back did not play. Now i heard all the Dark Horse fans talk about how much of a difference that Smith would have made had he played against ED, but does anyone think that a healthy Brown wouldn't have had an impact against the Bulldogs. I can't wait to hear this one.......
I thought I saw him in one play, but that was it. And as far as refs, there is no "home cooking", refs are scheduled by a booking company,not the school. But I'm guilty of saying that too at some games. Just seems some refs/umps see things differently than others. A hold by one looks like a good block by another. Does anyone watch the games on the NFHS network? You can see the games after getting home.
nfhsnetwork.com You can watch games live or watch later. It's around 10 bucks a month. Catch is not all schools are on it. You have to type in your school to see if they are available. East Duplin HOME games are (football,soccer,I think basketball, middle school). Great if you can't make the games.
