The fact that we have 4 guys on that team or that Goodridge is starting. I think I'm going with the latter.

light up any scoreboard with their shooting abilities. And Z and Gary both are point guards. Surely Z isn't playing the 2? Love him. He's one of my all time favs, but he wasn't a shooter.

And I don't consider Gary Ervin anything MSU. When he goes down in the Hall of chokinshame, he will go in as a Hog not a Dog. Although he did cost us several games too. Only game I ever remember him winning for a team was UPig against who?? Us of course. If you can't tell, I'm no fan of Ervin and NEVER was!

But from what i read, he was pretty valued as a professional while coming out of LaSalle. He even stuck with Golden State for a long time during training camp a couple years ago.

Ive read reviews from NBA blogs that felt had he gone to Georgetown instead of MSU, he would have been drafted. Gotta say that it couldnt have gone much worse for him in terms of NBA opportunity since he made himself NCAA eligible for only 3 seasons, transferred, and didnt go to a prominant school when he transferred.

He hit a huge 3 late in the Bammer game in Tuscaloosa in our epic come from behind overtime victory. I'm grateful for that, and I'm really grateful that my girlfriend didn't let me leave when we were down 20+ points.

IIRC, he had two horrible turnovers in quick succession when he drove to the bucket early in the shot clock. I believe we had the lead, and those were lostopportunities to stretch it.

Stans has developed players.
Players have developed naturally under Stans due simply to experience and age.
Players have seemed to regress under Stans.
Players have not developed under Stans.

Think of Stans' development as a spectrum. And the players are all over it.

I could point to many that i think have developed due to playing under him and his assistants.
I could point to many who were simply talented enough to develop naturally due to experience and play.
I think we can all point to players who have seemed to regress. Whether that is on the players, Stans, or simply the system and team makeup, who knows.
And we can also all point to players who have not developled while at MSU.

To try and put Stans into one of the above categories is lazy and disingenuous.
