He incorporates some of that. It's more of a mix of the Air Raid and spread option, but it's up tempo. Arkansas State averaged around 77 plays per game last year on offense. The most by an SEC team this year was Georgia, at 73 plays per game. Arkansas was 2nd with about 69 plays per game on average. Oregon averaged about 73 plays per game this year. Oklahoma State ran about 78 plays per game. A lot of the big 12 incorporates the hurry up. That's just to give you an idea of the pace.

We're going to be running a basketball on grass spread offense. Typically that requires lean, quick linemen.
Made me think Freeze will call out on some of his High School girls Basketball team he used to coach. They could probably bring improvement the quickest. But then you have to make sure C.J. stays away from them.

Just sayin..

era. in SI's preseason they said essentially re ole miss....the good news is that ole miss returns nearly every starter from last year's squad. that's the bad news too. you got to have a sense of humor.

"It's more of a mix of the Air Raid and spread option, but it's up tempo. " - you are killing me! Do you read what you type?

"Arkansas State averaged around 77 plays per game last year on offense. That's just to give you an idea of the pace." I obviously don't know offensive football like you do but I think the number of first downs you get somehow contributes to the number of offensive plays per game. How did Ole Miss do first down wise last year?
