Watching Fleck get fired up

Nice to see a well called, well executed game by a well prepared team.

over that clock mess up by the officials at the end was refreshing (and deserved). Moorhead wouldn’t have even realized it happened.

Yep... an offensive system that doesn't and won't work here was hired instead of a corch who will work with what he has regardless of the system

Yeah. For a guy who likes to talk "precision", Joe sure sucks at it. In his defense, when's the last time a few seconds would have made a difference to Joe? Or, when is the last time he was about to beat a top 15 team for a bowl win?

Good for PJ. Good for the Gophers.

He talks about a lot of stuff. Very little of it has come to fruition on the field.

He continuously uses the phrase "all three phases of the game" and doesn't do a damn thing about seeing that any of them are executed. Moorhead has delusions of grandeur and lives in his mind..aims but doesn't pull the trigger. He is reminescent (sp) of the Union general in the cibil war who trained and trained but never went to war..and was replaced by Grant

That was George McLellan. Was probably the greatest training officer in US Army History. Took a bunch of troops totally demoralized after their defeat at Bull Run, and whipped them into a fighting force. He just couldn't lead on the battlefield.

thanks....as I recall...Lincoln fired him and hired Grant because Grant "acted"...in other words he took action instead of talking and training and looking good

Glad they won. Wish we could luck out and get a good coach like him.
