This has to be a first but the Blackhawk Warren Coop won in the Wisconsin Semi Finals yesterday and qualified for the 7A (smallest class) championship game next Friday at Camp Randall.

You are correct. They used to co-op with River Ridge, but stopped doing that about 10 years ago.

OK I'm slow here, but how does this Wisconsin team (small school) coop with a huge IL 8A team in the first place (and) how do they remain a small Wisconsin team COOP'ing with a huge 8A team.

Yah I thought this at first too. There is a small town out as you head near Galena called Warren in far, far NW Illinois. At first I thought, sheesh, our boys in Gurnee have a busy week. Then I used MapQuest. Still cant tell you exactly how to get there though.

I knew it was Warren Illinois.It couldn’t be Gurnee Warren otherwise they wouldn’t be able to play in the IHSA playoffs.It’s all in or no on a Co-Op.You can’t have your own team then send some of your other players to play with another school
