Mr. Dick Vitale last night... He's the keynote speaker at an event I'm attending in Florida this week. Asked him about Renardo Sidney situation and he gave the blanket "maturity" answer (check his Twitter last night at about 10:45 central). He said Sidney was our key next season and I agree...
I think asked him about Rick Stansbury and he started moving his hands up and down simulating a roller coaster... He then gave me a fist bump, asked if I followed him on a twitter,and said have a good night, even though I wanted to keep pestering him.
Anyways, nice guy and very approachable. Spent most of the evening outside the resort pounding away on his Droid. When I got home, I realized he was tweeting the whole time... his wife was with him and she didn't seem to be to amused.
Looking forward to his speech this morning...
