I can't believe he said that, though. I couldn't imagine if Joe G. had done that. He'd get it from every card fan on here.

Card fan here. Repchinski sounds a lot like Motte.

Actually, I agree with you. What a stupid thing to say - especially on the slight chance it is true.

This guy rode a hot streak into the playoffs and now he thinks he has to call some shots for the Cards to win it all - which is bad news for the Cards. He got away with some incredibly stupid decisions in the first two rounds and now it is catching up with him.

Team has scored a total of 5 runs in 4 of the games and he keeps thinking his approach will get different results.

Why is Punto in the lineup? He has had as many key strikeouts as anybody. Texas has proven you can overcome miscues with timely hitting.

And speaking of timely hitting, how many baserunners is Holliday going to leave before Larussa movesMatt the Statdown in the order? Otherwise the Cardinals would be fortunate if he got another moth stuck in his ear during BP.

And one more thing. Allen Craig gets gunned down twice in the 178th game of the season on botched hit-and-runs plays. Give me a break.

I have no idea, I hope he was drunk. I thought his explanation along with his joking delivery of it was as idiotic as the initial move to bring in a new pitcher to intentionally walk a batter, much less be the only batter he faced. Tony can bring the Cards back and win the next 2 games for their11th World Series and I still wont be able to forget those couple hours of insanity.
