SW Edgecombe being undefeated on the field was the one thing I was holding on all season. Can't say that anymore after last week's surprising 1 point loss at North Pitt. North Pitt was able to do the same thing that Tarboro and Wilson Prep was able to do, which is to simply bust our line up physically. We really struggled to get the ball moving well on offense against their line.
Tonight's game vs the Washington Pam Pack should provide a breather, so to speak. Washington has not played well this season, winning for the first time last week, vs another team with only 1 win. It should be a running clock at some point in the game in favor of SWE. But I also thought we would run away from North Pitt last week too, so what do I know??

Let me tell you about this coaching staff. We convert the 4th down with a run out of bounds because we don't have any time outs. 1st and goal from the 8 with 17 seconds left, and we run the ball. With 0 time outs. After passing all the way there. And Washington was in no hurry to get up off the ball after the tackle, smartly. So time runs out. That has to be the bummiest of all coaching jobs I've seen. But the coaching is evident in the amount of penalties we garner week after week. I'm so down on the way we've been playing lately. Washington should be getting blown out. Instead, they are beating the brakes off of us.
