Wasn't the Titanic a flagship?

Yes it was.

It was a flagship full of pretentious individuals that used money to cover up how ****** their attitude and self morale was.

Actually, no. The Olympic was the flagship of that series of ocean liners. However, the analogy is still apt.

There was the Britannic, too. Like the Titanic, OM thinks only of themselves.

Actually yes. It was built as the flagship of the White Star line of crusiers. Just didn't hold the title long.

I think Dawgpile is right... Olympic was built and all the hype surrounding that ship was much greater than was Titanic. Titanic had some very small modifications and was slightly heavier, but it was the second ship in the class and was, for all intents and purposes, the same ship. It's most famous because it sank on it's maiden voyage, not so much because it was the "flagship" of the class.
