Sadly some people are just going to do what they are going to do. Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, John Belushi, Chris Farley, Michael Jackson and Prince, to name a few, had a lot more to lose than 99.9 percent of the population.

I went from ecstatic that Tubby signed an AA and after that Duke game to man this guy is nuts and our season went with it.

Beasley was so good he coasted in the NBA for years off natural talent. He would have been special if he had a decent head on his shoulders.

For those who are either too young or just don't remember he was the best player in that class which included Tommy Kron and Larry Conley, they had a nickname of the Katzanjammer kids, his sophomore year which back then was the 1st year of varsity UK played Vanderbilt who was top 10 in the country with all American 6'9" Clyde Lee, Kentucky put 6'2" Gibson at the foul line which made Lee guard him, Gibson went for 20 or so that night and the Cats upset Vandy. What happened that night was replicated years later with Dwight Anderson against ND

Tough thread really. So hard to know what influences and upbringings these kids have to deal with. I just hope they realize other potentials if their issues exclude them from basketball.
