First, let me say that I fully think that Rod Gibson never got to the endzone before he fell over his own freaking feet. If he had any coordination at all, he would have walked in. Thank god, it was before replays.
But, Christensen has an enormous dick up his *** about MSU in general. He talks nonstop about LSU and how great they are playing and how they deserve the win. Then, he proceeds to say 20 times in a row how "Gibson clearly didn't get in" when the only view of the play is from the endzone behind the play. You cannot see the ball at all, you cannot see the goal line. All you can see is his right shoulder from 120 yards away. Yet, he CLEARLY didn't get in and in his words, "LSU got jobbed".
Again, I do not believe that Gibson got in but to hear a color analyst go ON and ON and ON about how obviously the referee missed the call. Its never anything but a "well, I don't know about that one" type comment. Plus, earlier in the game, he had made fun of the anchors at ESPN. No wonder his time at the mothership was limited.
And, how amazing was it that we actually did ONCE get a call from an SEC official. Of course, that one (and the Hazelwood FG against Ark) are the only 2 that we have gotetn in 20 years.</p>
