watching again on the DVR - they were WAY over-comitted to stopping 28

On 14's long run, we fake to 28 and both safeties and a LB roll all the way to the wide side to chase 28. 14 is 12 yards up the field before the secondary knows where the football is.

All they wanted to do was tackle 28, so we gave it to 14 and 27.

I feel like he finally got a chance to open up his speed a little. Still can't run it inside but get him in thr open and let him torch.

28 is not in the game. We fake to 27 and a DE, LB, and safety all chase 27. That freed the middle of the field for 1 and 14 completes a long pass to 1. 14 throws the pass before the people chasing 27 know where the ball is.

It is amazing how complete sold out OM was to stopping the run. They ignored all else to stop the run. NUTTS!

Stopping the run put and end to our offense. Relf finally showed he can pass enough to keep us two dimensional. Did I hear the commentators say Ballards TD last night broke the record for most in a season or something like that?
