And it really makes me miss guys like Skip Caray, Ernie Johnson, Pete Vam Wieren of the Braves, Harry Kalas of the Phillies broadcast crew and him doing NFL Films ( John Facinda also)
Jack Buck and Mike Shannon of the Cards baseball crew.
Afraid the younger generation of today wont ever have that chance to experience great radio/Tv broadcast crews.
Who are some other baseball great voices - Harry Karay not withstanding.

Listened to a whole lot of Skip Carey and Ernie Johnson in the mid to late 70's, Jack Buck and Mike Shannon early to mid 80's (winning the World Series as fun) and Marty Brennaman and Joe Nuxhall mid 90's early 00''s. Lot of good baseball announcing teams and would guess they all provide a soundtrack to your summer if you live there.

Don Sutton was another great Braves announcer. I love Brandon Gaudin on the TV side. I also enjoy CJ Nitkowski, Frenchy, and Glavine as color analysts.

Nationwide, I like the Blue Jays and Orioles TV teams.

John Rooney does the Cardinals radio play by play and has a really classic delivery I think. He came over about 15 years ago and started doing games with Mike Shannon when Mike started to slow down a little bit
