MSU's class is ranked 19th in the nation, 5 SEC teams made the top 25 (UK #1, Ark. #4, Bama #15, MSU #19, Vandy #22). Individual rankings list Hood as the #7 small forward in the nation, Deville Smith as the 20th ranked point guard (too low IMO), and D.J. Gardner is the 33rd ranked power forward in the nation. They also said that Hood has NBA potential and should be rated higher than the 7th, tremendous talent. Stans has assembled a very solid recruiting class this year, I just hope that we can survive the early portion of our schedule without Bost and Renardo.
