that was our "achilles tendon" with Johnson as our DC. TE run a post route right up the middle of the field. It was always wide open on 3rd and long aGAINST our D.

i was having to explain my nervousness and why i was hollering at the silver headed d coach in the booth and how i knew him as EJ and why it always happened on 3rd downs to my LSU roommate. Good grief flashbacks of 3rd and 17 with a 23 yard completion jumped into my head.

EJ is terrible and 3rd and long (or in this case, 4th and long) situations. He lined up with 4 down lineman and I thought, "he finally learned his lesson!" Then, 2 of those guys don't rush, they stand up and drop three yards. Seriously? That's retarded, they are serving no purpose. Snead isn't Michael Vick, he's not gonna pull off a 19 yard run for the first. If you're gonna drop them into coverage, really drop them, as in about 10 yards. Snead had all day on that play, it's a good thing their secondary stood tall.
